UK Cloud Backup for Business
For UK businesses specifically wanting to store their data in UK data centres, we offer two complementary solutions which are often taken together. The Ahsay solution, for PCs, MACs, Servers & NAS drives, and the CloudAlly solution for cloud-to-cloud backup (backup for SaaS).
Ahsay : Online Backup for PC/MAC, Servers & NAS
Only pay for storage: 10p/GB/month
PC/MAC: starting at 50GB (£5/month)
Servers/NAS: starting at 100GB (£10/month)
Our Ahsay online backup solution provides convenient & comprehensive backup for PCs & MACs (LITE version), and Server Applications & NAS Drives (PRO version), with all your data being stored & replicated across two UK data centres. The primary DC is in Docklands, London and your data is automatically replicated to a secondary DC in Bournemouth.
There is no licence fee so you can install the free software on any number of machines within your company.
Tip: 1 Gigabyte of storage space, @ 10p per month, lets you backup/store roughly 500 photos of reasonable quality. 50GB gives you room to store roughly 25,000 photos for just £5 a month.
PC/MAC – LITE version:
• Backup your whole system or select specific files/folders, as well as free cloud storage areas such as Google Drive & Dropbox;
• Automatic backup scheduling.
• All data is encrypted using AES 256 Bit encryption in-flight and at-rest.
• Choice of incremental or differential backups.
• Hybrid Backups: the software lets you store different data on different storage targets.
• No Licence Fee – The client software is free to download and install on any number of machines within your company.
• Local backups are free – only pay for data stored on our server.
Servers/NAS – PRO version:
Includes all features of the LITE version, as well as backup for Server Applications such as VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure, Lotus Notes/Domino, and databases such as MySQL, MSSQL & Oracle.
Backup for NAS drives can be achieved by enabling Network Discovery and Sharing on the server, so the NAS is accessible as a ‘virtual local drive’. You can then create backup sets as usual.
CloudAlly : Cloud-to-Cloud Backup for SaaS
For user-based services, e.g., Exchange, IMAP, Salesforce or G Suite, Groups & Teams…

This Cloud-to-Cloud backup & recovery solution is an ideal UK cloud backup for Business. It let’s you backup daily changes in your Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform to secure storage servers, and makes it available for restore in just one click. The solution is delivered via intuitive and easy-to-use web portal, and designed for businesses using the following Software as a Service: Office 365 Suite, Exchange, IMAP; OneDrive; SharePoint; Box; Dropbox, G-Suite (Google Drive) & Salesforce. Choice of data storage location in the US, EU(Ireland) or Asia.
It should be noted that entrusting your data to 3rd party cloud services (E.g., for Office/Microsoft 365 etc) does not guarantee availability of your data, nor of recompense should your data be accidentally deleted or simply unavailable due service unavailability. This is exemplified by Microsoft’s Service Agreement below.

“We strive to keep the Services up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages, and Microsoft is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result. In the event of an outage, you may not be able to retrieve Your Content or Data that you’ve stored. We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content and Data that you store on the Services or store using Third-Party Apps and Services.”
It is therefore vital that important data from your cloud services be regularly backed up to secure, secondary/remote storage servers.
